Complete Board Care System
$59.99
Includes: 8 oz Cutting Board Soap, 4 oz Cutting Board Scrub, 8 oz Cutting Board Oil, and 4 oz Cutting Board Wax
The complete four-part routine for cleaning, conditioning, and protecting the kitchen wood used every day.
Proper board care involves more than applying oil whenever the wood looks dry. Food residue and surface buildup should be removed first, the wood must be allowed to dry completely, and only then should conditioning and protection begin.
The Oakholm Complete Board Care System brings every stage of that routine together. Cutting Board Soap handles ordinary washing. Cutting Board Scrub provides additional cleaning action when knife marks and stubborn areas need more attention. Cutting Board Oil penetrates dry wood and restores depth to the grain. Cutting Board Wax completes the process by helping hold those conditioning oils within the wood while leaving the surface smooth and more resistant to everyday moisture.
Each product has a distinct role. They can be used together for a complete restoration or individually as the condition of the wood requires. Complete care does not mean applying all four products after every use; it means having the correct product available for every stage of maintenance.
Why it earns a place in the routine
- Covers the complete progression from routine cleaning through final surface protection.
- Provides separate solutions for ordinary washing, deeper cleaning, internal conditioning, and surface care.
- Helps restore pale, rough wood while improving its feel and moisture resistance.
- Eliminates the guesswork of assembling a board-care routine from unrelated products.
Best for: Wood cutting boards, butcher blocks, carving boards, serving boards, wooden utensils, rolling pins, bowls, and other food-preparation wood surfaces.
How to use
For routine cleaning
- Rinse the surface briefly with warm water. Do not soak the wood.
- Apply a small amount of Cutting Board Soap to a damp sponge, cloth, or cleaning brush.
- Wash the surface thoroughly, rinse with warm water, and towel-dry immediately.
- Allow the wood to finish drying upright with airflow around it.
When deeper cleaning is needed
- Apply a small amount of Cutting Board Scrub to the damp surface with enough Cutting Board Soap to create a workable cleaning mixture.
- Scrub gently with the grain, paying particular attention to knife marks, stained areas, and stubborn buildup.
- Rinse thoroughly, towel-dry immediately, and allow the wood to dry completely before conditioning.
When the wood needs conditioning
- Apply Cutting Board Oil evenly to the completely dry wood, including the face, edges, ends, and any other unfinished surfaces.
- Allow the oil time to penetrate, then wipe away any remaining excess with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Once the oil has absorbed and the surface no longer feels wet, apply Cutting Board Wax in a thin, even layer.
- Allow the wax to settle into the surface, then buff thoroughly until the wood feels smooth and dry to the touch.
